Personnel of the Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority – BARMM (BEZA – BARMM) led by their Executive Director, Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Governor of Maguindanao del Norte, Hon. Abdulraof A. Macacua today, May 25, 2023. Atty. Abas also took the opportunity to orient the Governor about the agency and its mandates, and presented the salient features of the legal bases in the creation of the BEZA and the existing and potential ecozones in the region. The Governor was briefed about the Ecozone Advisory Council, of which he is the Chairperson, together with the Mayors of municipalities or cities where the ecozone is located, a representative from the business sector, and a representative from BEZA as its member.
