The Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority – BEZA, through its OIC Chief Economic Development Specialist, Atty. Maria Mikkoh R. Ortuoste-Samba, along with Senior Economic Development Specialists Norcayla Mamalac and Atong E. Sambolawan II, and the Bangsamoro Board of Investments (BBOI) Chairperson Mohamad Omar Pasigan, recently came together for an exploratory meeting aimed at discussing potential collaboration opportunities between both agencies for boosting economic growth in the Bangsamoro Region.
In addition to discussing potential collaboration, the meeting served as a valuable learning session for BEZA personnel. They had the opportunity to gain insights into the functions of the BBOI, and several questions and issues related to granting incentives were raised and clarified.
The exchange of ideas and information during the meeting will help strengthen BEZA’s capabilities in promoting investment and fostering economic growth in the region.
