Key personnel of the Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) and Polloc Freeport and Ecozone (PFEZ), headed by its Executive Director, Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, participate today in the ongoing 3-day Investment Promotion and Facilitation Workshop for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)  The workshop, being facilitated by the Ministry of Finance and Budget and Management (MFBM) in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aims to: 1. Establish a baseline understanding of the importance of investment inflow as a major driver of national and regional economic development; 2. Comprehend key investment strategic areas and form a deeper knowledge of their linkages to support public policy formulation; and; 3.Define possible breakthroughs in promoting a consolidated ‘whole-of-BARMM’ approach to investment program development and implementation. Attending the workshop are also the staff from the Bureau of Investment (BOI) under the Ministry of Trade, Investment, and Tourism (MTIT).
