ED Atty. Sukarno A. Abas and Cotabato City Mayor Hon. Bruce Matabalao convened in a pivotal meeting yesterday, September 25, 2023, to address the queries of the LGU Cotabato City pertaining their intent in establishing a Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

Mayor Bruce and other Key Officials of the City Government were also oriented on the BEZA’s mandates and salient features of the Legal Bases in the creation of the agency.

The Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority envision this as significant step in the creation of further economic zones for the Bangsamoro Region for it will promote economic growth, provide employment, and open up new prospects for the local populace.
