In an initiative to mobilize the potential of the Polloc Freeport and Ecozone (PFEZ), the Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) in partnership with the Rurban Strategic Development Planners Inc. (RSDPI) conducted a ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐

The aforementioned workshop aims to identify spatial strategies that correspond to the overall vision set for PFEZ to maximize its potential and to create a preferred concept or structure plan that reveals the future development across the entire territory of PFEZ.
Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, Executive Director of BEZA, shared the importance of attending the said workshop during his opening remarks.

โThe Over-all approach to be undertaken in the formulation of this Plan will be holistic and integrative hence, consultation to all stakeholders will be conducted in order to create a comprehensive, well defined vision and plans for the future development of the PFEZ,โ Executive Director Abas said.

Meanwhile, through series of group workshops and presentations, the participants got to know more about the problem and needs of the PFEZ.

Port Administrator Salipada B. Alonga on his closing remarks he said “Being the first and only Freeport and Economic Zone in BARMM, it is a challenge for us to continually improve our facilities and services to and for our local and international clients”.
The 2-day training workshop was facilitated by BEZA personnel and RSPDI, namely Prof. Carmilita U. Liwag, Ms. Lee M. Patarlas, Ms. Marjian A. Antonio, Engr. Gerard Patrick Mayo and Mr. Ralph C. Sotoridona, and participants from different concerned Ministries, Agencies, and LGU Parang.
