A delegation from the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) led by its Country Manager, Mr. Oscar Moreno, and Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) OIC Executive Director, Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, conducted a coordination and exploratory meeting regarding the UNOPS’s organization of a Project Preparation Facility (PPF) Mission at Polloc Freeport and Ecozone (PFEZ), Barangay Polloc, Parang Maguindanao Del Norte, today, May 9, 2023.

The purpose of the said activity is to discuss matters relating to the BEZA and PFEZ, and to the Project Preparation Facility (PPF) mechanism that will help the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and local governments bankroll big-ticket infrastructure projects through public-private partnership modalities.

Also in attendance are PFEZ Deputy Administrator Mohammad Abdulatif Abdullah, Chief Administrative Officer Semion P. Binsuan, and representatives from UNOPS.
