In an effort to further strengthen the mandate of the Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority, Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, OIC-Executive Director, together with the Chief Economic Development Specialist Ms. Fahroneeza M. Kamensa, had an exploratory meeting with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Project Development Officer, Ms. Erina Yamashita, and Head of the Emergency and Post-Crisis Unit, Mr. Michael Dumamba.
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce and promote BEZA and PFEZ-BARMM as well as their operations, and for potential collaboration and partnership on projects, programs, and initiatives of the Bangsamoro Economic Zone Authority-BARMM.
IOM is the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners.
