The 1st Quarter Board of Directors’ Meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board, Hon. Abuamri A. Taddik, Minister of MTIT-BARMM; Vice-Chair, Hon. Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, Deputy Minister of MTIT-BARMM and OIC – Executive Director of BEZA; Members of the Board, Hon. Muslim G. Sema, Minister of MOLE-BARMM, Hon. Akmad Brahim, Minister of MENRE-BARMM and Hon. Dickson P. Hermosa, Minister of MOTC-BARMM. Eshan Karl O. Mabang, LMS Director of MENRE and BEZA TWG chairman, Omar A. Abutazil, representative from MPW – BARMM, Ms. Rohaniya Rashid and Engr. Amil Abubakar, representatives from BPDA-BARMM and Mr. Hairodin Arap, representative from MAFAR-BARMM were also present.

The meeting highlighted the updates on the creation of the BEZA Manual of Operations, BEZA House Rules, and other important matters.

According to Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, Deputy Minister of MTIT-BARMM and OIC Executive Director of BEZA, the basis of the updates on the BEZA Manual of Operations were the Bangsamoro Organic Law, Bangsamoro Administrative Code, and MMA Act No. 154 of the previous ARMM.

Furthermore, MENRE – LMS Director and BEZA TWG chairman Eshan Karl O. Mabang presented the Flow in the Declaration and Operationalization of Economic Zone, Industrial Estate and Freeport.
